Mold Star 14T

An easy to use, platinum silicone that features a relatively low viscosity (vacuum degassing is not required for most applications). Cures to a soft, strong rubber that is tear resistant and exhibits very low long term shrinkage. Molds made with Mold Star 14T will last a long time and are good for casting wax, gypsum, resins, concrete and other materials. Cured rubber is heat resistant up to 450°F (232°C) and is suitable for casting low-temperature melt metal alloys. Material is skin safe and certified by an independent laboratory.
Can be thickened with Thi-Vex thickener for brush-on applications and effects. An infinite number of color effects can be achieved by adding Silc Pig or Cast Magic. Although not usually necessary, a release agent (Ease Release 200) will make demolding easier. Note: This product will not cure against surfaces containing sulfur, even when sealed.
