Epoxy resin which offers high heat resistance up to 350° F/177°C if post cure schedule is used. Features a relatively low viscosity that ensures minimal bubble entrapment. Castings cure with negligible shrinkage and are very hard, and very strong. Ideal for making vacuum form molds, foundry patterns, forming dies & fixtures, hard rollers, industrial parts and high impact tools. Also suitable for encapsulation applications or for use as a high temperature epoxy for bonding a variety of surfaces.
An application of a release agent such as Ease Release 200 or 205 may be needed. Can be colored with SO-Strong. Cure EpoxAcast 670 can be painted and/or primed and then painted with acrylic enamel paints. Epic Epoxy Thinner can be added to improve flowability to make it easier to mix and pour or laminate. The residue of epoxy can be clean with E-POX-EE Kleener, Acetone or alcohol.
