High performance platinum cure liquid silicone compound, used around the world for a variety of applications ranging from creating skin effects and other movie special effects to making production molds for casting a variety of materials. Also used for medical prosthetics and cushioning applications, because of its superior physical properties and flexibility. Cured Dragon Skin is very strong and very "stretchy". Will stretch many times its original size without tearing and will rebound to its original form without distortion. Can also be used for a variety of industrial applications.
An infinite number of color effects can be achieved by adding Silc Pig pigments or Cast Magic powders. Cured rubber can also be painted with the Psycho Paint system and is certified skin safe by an independent laboratory to ISO 10993-10, Biological evaluation of medical devices, Part 10: Tests for irritation and skin sensitization. Can be thinned with Silicone Thinner or thickened with Thi-Vex for a brush-on application. Although not usually necessary, a release agent (Ease Release 200) will make demolding easier when pouring into or over most surfaces.Recommend vacuum degassing using a Vacuum Chamber.
