Very soft, platinum silicone that is clearer than other Ecoflex silicones. Versatile and easy to use and cures at room temperature with negligible shrinkage. Low viscosity ensures easy mixing and de-airing. Cured material is certified skin safe by an independent laboratory. Cured rubber is very soft, very strong and very “stretchy”, stretching many times its original size without tearing and will rebound to its original form without distortion.
Can be colored with Silc Pig pigments for creating a variety of color effects. Silicone Thinner can be added to further lower the viscosity. Although not usually necessary, a release agent (Ease Release 200) will make demolding easier when pouring into or over most surfaces. For a clear, slightly harder Ecoflex silicone, Ecoflex 00-45 is available. Important: Rubber will darken considerably when exposed to heat.
