Translucent platinum silicone rubber that cures at room temperature with negligible shrinkage and features high tensile and tear strength. Rubber clarity is especially useful when extracting models via cutting. Ideal for making prototype, jewelry or other molds of any configuration where model visibility is important. Materials such as urethane, epoxy or polyester resins, wax and low melt alloy can be cast into Sorta-Clear. Although not usually necessary, a release agent (Ease-Release 200) will make demolding easier. Can be colored with Silc Pig silicone pigments. Sorta-Clear 12 is not food safe, and should no be used for food related applications.
